A View Up Broad St. by SonnyHamauchi

This is a view looking up Broad St. in Philadlephia. Broad Street is the longest, straightest continuous street in the nation. This is looking at City Hall with the statue of William Penn the founder of Philadelphia. The building on the left with the domed roof is the Kimmel Center which is a large auditorium for music and plays. Up a block or two on the same side of the street is the Academy of Music. This stretch of Broad St. has few theaters and the Union League and is now called the Avenue of the Arts. It continues back a few more blocks that are not included in this shot. via 500px http://j.mp/1wbbofG
