Hoy 19 de Marzo de 2015 se celebran 133 años, desde que se puso la primera piedra en el Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde entonces, y la prueba es evidente de que el Templo sigue hacia arriba. Aunque inicialmente el Templo no lo comenzo Antonio Gaudi ( 1852- 1926 ) sino Francisco de Paula del Villar, este tras abandonar la obra, se le encargo un año siguiente ( 1883 ) a Gaudí, el, cambiando por completo, toda su estructuracion. y haciendo suya, la majestuosidad del Templo, Gaudí contaba con 31 años, y los 15 años antes de su fallecimiento, se dedico exclusivamente por completo a la Sagrada Familia. La foto que os propongo hoy, que podria haber sido todo el templo entero, tiene una explicacion, El, antes de morir, vio y realizo la fachada del Nacimiento, concretamente la torre de San Bartolome, la segunda de la derecha, y casi terminadas las cuatro, ademas esta fachada del Nacimiento y la cripta, esta declarado por la Unesco en el año 2005 Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Es uno de monumentos mas visitados de España actualmente, con un promedio de 3.5 millones de visitantes al año. Cuando este terminado contara con 18 torres, cuatro en cada fachada que representan a los doces Apostoles, cuatro mas a los Arcangeles, una a la Virgen Maria y por ultimo la mas grande a Jesus coronando el Templo por una gran cruz, con una alzada final de 172 metros de altura. Fue propuesta para una de las site Maravillas del mundo moderno. Es uno de los 12 Tesoros de España. Es una de las siete Maravillas de Catalunya. El 7 de Noviembre de 2010 el Templo fue consagrado por el Papa Benedicto XVI otorgandole el titulo de Basilica menor. Se calcula que podria estar terminada para el año 2026, año en el que se conmemora el centeranio de la muerte de Gaudí.
