Chairs by glenn1112

When I first started my Nashville series I said I would return to the hotel we stayed in for some interior images, so here is the first one. This is a wonderful stairway in the Union Station Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. It took us 20 minutes to get down these stairs because we were taking so many photos. In this view we are looking down from the floor we were staying on at a set of chairs in the lobby. Long before it was a historic hotel, Union Station was a key center in America’s economy and culture. The train station opened on Oct. 9, 1900. It officially opened as a hotel in December 1986 and was re-dedicated on October 9, 2007 after an $11 million dollar renovation. via 500px http://j.mp/1lIago5
