This is the Roman Colosseum, a shell of it's former self and even though at first it is vast and striking, when you look closer you can really see the wear and tear of age kicking in, the scaffolding at the side being a rather obvious example of this. I tried to minimise the scaffolding by choosing this angle and hopefully you don't think it deflects from the image. via 500px http://j.mp/1fUSaCY
