Visual Acoustics VIII - Silence and Light - New York City Sunrise by JoelTjintjelaar

If you want to know how I processed this image, see some detailed outtakes, a bigger version and what my philosophy is behind this type of processing then head over to my blogpost here http://j.mp/1r21gPi and for more in depth details I can recommend reading the book From Basics to Fine Art - B&W photography- architecture and beyond that you can buy here: http://j.mp/1pFsBcu by me and co-author Julia This is my first photo since 6 months since I've been occupied lately with workshops, mentorships and writing books. This photo was taken in New York City on a very early morning at the Vision Explorers workshop. It's a tilt-shift shot consisting of 3 horizontally shifted images making up for a 3:1 panoramic shot. Each shot taken with the Formatt-Hitech IRND filters, totalling 16 stops per image and each image with a long exposure time of around 6 minutes. via 500px http://j.mp/1r21iH3
