Remaining chimney by antjeherman

This chimney is a remain from the leather-industry, which was once one of the most important industries in the neighborhood i was born in. Another important industry was the textile-industry. The workers brought jars with urine in it, to the factory and washed the raw wool with it, which give them the name "Kruikezeikers" (Jarpissers). During carnival the city of Tilburg is called "Kruikezeikersstad" (Jarpissing-City). Thank you for visiting and your support.
