A chance to see SSE Hydro with the lights off letting reflections of the city surround it and view its internals. My first photo with my newly acquired Sigma 1.8 18-35 lens The SSE Hydro is located in Glasgow, Scotland, The arena has a seating capacity of 12,000.And hosts live music and entertainment events It was designed by the London-based architects Foster + Partners. If you have seen it before it is usually flashing all sorts of colors and has been a major focal point in Glasgow in recent years. via 500px http://j.mp/1kFvLHq

Palace of birds by rpansare

The museum housed in the Lakhota Lake Palace, Jamnagar is beautifully adorned with frescoes, sculpted jalis (window seen above), and carvings. In the lake surrounding it, you can spot gulls, pelicans, spot bill ducks, widgeons, terns, cormorants and many such birds. In the center of the lake,in the Palace, houses Pigeons and Rosy Starlings(Starlings only for the winters). The afternoon sun was high-up in the sky and the commotion made by these pigeons cast shadows on the yellow walls of the Palace. This is when I got an idea, and positioned myself in front of a Jali. After several failed shots, finally got this shot. A frozen moment, with the avian residents of the palace and its heritage in one frame via 500px http://j.mp/1lsiZQc
