At times, modern buildings look like alien spaceships. A while ago, I created a pic called Space Invaders (the one published in the (en)Visionography contest), featuring the BMW Museum in München/Munich. When I did the series Guillemins Fine Art Project, my friend Joerg Riehm (aka Joe Plasmatico, a terribly creative guy - check out his work!) wrote in a comment that the Calatrava building reminded him of a spaceship.
