Here is a photo from a recent trip to Los Angeles, CA. Even though I only live about an hour away from the city, I have hardly been there and only the second time taking photos. I came with my cousin, who luckily has a pretty good holding of the landscape of the city and showed me plenty of amazing locations. This photo was taken from atop of City Hall from the observatory. The observatory gives an wonderful view of the city, but there are walls and rails that restrict photographers from getting that perfect shot. So to get this shot, I had to put my camera outside of the rails, possibly breaking the rules, and had to hold it with one arm as I adjusted all of the settings. Although I was putting the safety of my camera in danger, the result was well worth the risk. The recent storms and clouds in sunny California made for an amazing composition. Once I got my camera set up, the sky turned and made for amazing light show for me to capture. Really enjoyed this composition as you can see the Los Angeles Times building in the lower right, the Walt Disney Hall to the right, and then the beautiful skyscraper buildings to complete the compositions. HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!! via 500px http://j.mp/1Ck6WMY
