Passo Giau in the Dolomites is certainly one of the most beautiful and photographed motifs except Tree Cime di Lavaredo. Its beauty is best shown early in the morning when they take over all the gold of the morning sun with a beautiful view of the valley where Cortina d Ampezzo awakening in the mist. When I admire this beauty and drive past, I always remember Slovenian best rider a few years back Jure Robič, which is also rode here a few months before his tragic death. He was a true man of stell! More than a hundred times he won the toughest races. He was a five-time consecutive winner on the toughest global cycling race "Race Across America - RAAM ", which is the worlds toughest sporting test: Why should the best people to go first !? via 500px http://j.mp/1wuNXNj
