The International Cultural Center Oscar Niemeyer is located in the City of AvilÈs - Asturias (Spain), and is the unique building of Niemeyer in Spain. Niemeyer thought that was the best project developed in Europe. The complex is composed by: the square, the auditorium, a multipurpose building and the most representative buildings, the tower and the dome. The design of the square of the center was described by Oscar as: "A place opened to all the world, a place for education, culture and peace".
