Sometimes it pays to wake early and face the winter cold. I've been trying for this shot for the last two winters. All too often the fog completely covers the buildings. In fact there are many days when the fog envelopes this viewpoint. So I was thrilled when I arrived and could see river of fog going through the city of Portland, Oregon. via 500px http://j.mp/1zvWwsX
