Emerald Lakes Tongariro National Park Two attempts on two dawns and one hour's visibility was all that was needed to convince me to return to this spot in the future for more hiking and photography. Only a few minutes prior, this scene was blanketed out in white. If only if had cleared perhaps a little sooner, there might have also been some colour in the sky to shoot that morning too but I was ecstatic just to have seen something. via 500px http://j.mp/1zTMPVI
