Earlier this month I went to a less traveled location to shoot the Golden Gate Bridge during allow fog event. I had the pleasure of shooting with Nick, Jay Huang, and Andy Wu. During our shoot I happened to look towards the city, and saw this giant freighter getting swallowed up by the fog. It was a surreal scene watching San Francisco, the low fog, and the freighter all at once. I just had to take the shot, and seconds later the ship had disappeared into the fog. I was empathizing with the captain who had to navigate under the Golden Gate Bridge only using his/her instruments. I posted this photo on Facebook a few weeks ago, and I was told by many people that local pilots actually get onboard the ship, and guide it 10 miles out. Wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for looking! via 500px http://j.mp/1rbsTdA
