CommandCenter by CoolorFoto

Taken at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, one of my very favorite museums in the world, simply because of the amazing architecture of the complex, designed by the great architect Richard Meier. I am also happy to say that one of my images was featured in a 2 page wide spread in Conde Nast Traveller magazine, the British June 2014 edition (at newsstands now and available in a digital version). It is being used in a Reader's competition where readers have to figure out where I took the photo from, the winner gets a luxury trip as a prize. There is a also another incentive to check out the image, I decided to use my real name for the credit, so if anyone is interested this is your chance. Fairly soon I think I may be switching to use my real name everywhere, the alias has been fun, and liberating, but got to step into the light a bit. :-) See link below for the magazine contest details, in order to see the photo you need to pay for access to the magazine (magazines rule not mine), however it is one of my images that is on my profile here of NYC, but wont say which as I don't want to ruin the fun of the competition. http://j.mp/1hMSOxN As for the Getty Center If you are fan of angles, curves, lines and geometry like I am, this is a place you should take in, and the fact that it has a glorious view of LA. It also had an Ansel Adams exhibit when I visited, which is always inspiring if you like photography (regardless of your approach). The image posted here is of the Main Entrance Hall, a marvel of geometry and light, I love it! Here are a few links for some info on the museum, I may have more to post from my session here (shot a few months ago), I have posted images in other forums from previous trips one which was asked to be used on the Getty website itself in a blog, although never got around to checking if they ever used it. http://j.mp/1hoY407 http://j.mp/1hMSMGe via 500px http://j.mp/1hoY6oC
