Dolmabahçe Mosque by ahmedhamid77
Dolmabahçe Mosque !!! The mosque's construction was originally backed by Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan. After she died, Sultan Abdülmecid, her son, continued to support the construction of the mosque. Haunted Hotel, Azores by SandraFilipePhotography
The Monte Palace Hotel is a former five star luxury complex in the island of São Miguel, Azores. It's located near the Sete Cidades village, with stunning views over the Sete Cidade Lagoon, which is one of Portugal's Seven Wonders. This hotel has been abandoned for 25 years, becoming one of the most curious and spectacular abandoned places in Portugal. Last week, we decided to enter the building when we were on our way to visit the lagoon, and it was remarkable. The clarity of the fog comming down from the roof, combined with the reflection of all the hotel's deterioration on the water was simply stunning. The building has kind of its own soul, making us all feel like the place is clearly haunted. ------------------------------------------------------------------- If you appreciate my work, please visit my Official Website. Day 50: Borough High Street Exit by UrsulaRodgers
London Bridge Underground Station. This is a really great station for photographs. Obviously it's much better if you're there when it's relatively quiet :) Shot as part of my Fisheye project for 2015. via 500px http://j.mp/18yDfw1
Moon rise over the bridge by manufoto
One of my favorite locations in San Francisco. Wanted something a bit different so here's a moonrise shot. The moon was a separate exposure with a longer lens blended in. Enjoy ! via 500px http://j.mp/1G3TZZQ

Musical Staircase by TerryLetton
This area is very conservative architecturally, there is very little modern architecture. The big exception is the campus of UMass-Dartmouth which was designed in the brutalist style by Paul Rudolph. After our first blizzard I had the idea to go over ther and try to contrast the textured concrete buildings with the heavy snow. There I came across this , ivy reclaiming the raw concrete. But what really caught my eye was how the pattern of the ivy and the few leaves left looked like a very twisted musical score. via 500px http://j.mp/1wyxTpN

Renovation Or Destruction? by ballad
This picture I took last year in Hasankeyf. The town was part of some of the oldest civilizations, and Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians and Persians ruled over the city before it became the buffer zone of the conflicts between the Romans and Sassanians. Then it came under Byzantine rule and later saw the emergence of the great Islamic empires. And sadly, this long history of Hasankeyf is about to come to a close soon, due to the construction of a dam. You can find more information about Hasankeyf here: http://j.mp/1EWfqID The picture was originally posted here: http://j.mp/1vKn34U via 500px http://j.mp/1EWftnG

Pushkinsky bridge by lyutik966
Pushkinsky (Andrew's) - a pedestrian bridge built across the Moskva River in Moscow. Built in 1999 using old designs of Andrew's Bridge, was built in 1905-1907 by the engineer LD Proskuryakov, PY Kamentsev and architect AN Pomerantsev is a monument of architecture and engineering. Due to the fact that the construction of a pedestrian bridge Pushkinsky used the old St. Andrew's construction of a railway bridge - namely, its main arch at the entrance to the bridge by Pushkinsky embankment (dull garden) kept a plaque with a brief history of St. Andrew's Bridge, so Pushkinsky bridge is often called St. Andrew . via 500px http://j.mp/1wxzigh
