Reflection of History : Marnan bridge is one of the eleven historical bridges of Esfahan city over the Zayandeh Rood river.The bridge built in the 17th Century by Shah Abbas Safavi "Shah Abbas the Great".The current structure of the bridge dates back to the Safavid era,but its foundations are older and possibly as old as the Shahrestan bridge.Total length 175 metres (574 ft).Marnan now is a pedestrian historical bridge and a good example of The Safavid bridge design. via 500px http://j.mp/1GbFdMY
